Oh, the insensitive a-holes who complain about their law firms, their “trips to NY to see6 shows” or their “trip to Paris World Cup.” There are many families who do-the-best-they-can with what they have to support their soccer player. Some families are larger or smaller than others, and soccer may be a stretch for them. What’s wrong with having a little sensitivity? Maybe donate funds to supplement those for whom an international trip may be cost prohibitive? Are there domestic options? Either way, stop flouting your over-privileged rear ends. Pride comes before a fall…
I originally posted first page. I am struggling, RIGHT NOW! I don’t blame anybody but myself for my choices. My life is amazing even though I am financially struggling right now. That is perspective. This post is also the same reason why I REALLY, REALLY dislike DCSC. The club does not represent DC. It represents privileged NW DC. You spout $150k income. Have you ever seen the incomes of some of the people thriving in this city. Mixed 3 generation families grinding like the “American Way” with the threat of ICE everyday. You guys hoard fields from other groups so that your costs are lower and your commute is easier. Shame on you if you have no value is seeing this as a wake up call. 💩 rolls down hill. You have 💩ed on those whose total income for 3 generations is $75k and now you want us to have sympathy for situation? Grass fields are available in abundance in this city. The field next to Hearst is available almost everyday. A ball is $15 and any four objects can make goals. That is the essence of soccer. Anything else is a bonus. You should be grateful for this reality check because if anybody ever traced your posts to your actual life and the organic food in your pantry, the WiFi and device you used to post on this board and shared it with miners in WV who may have never had a shot at another life, you see how quickly you are “Karen’d”. Families at my kids school are about to lose SNAP benefits so let me get back to really trying to help those who need it versus my first world problems. Again, this is why 1/2 of this country is tired of you and why we are in this mess. Stop clutching your pearls and get some perspective.
