Some families are larger or smaller than others, and soccer may be a stretch for them.
What’s wrong with having a little sensitivity? Maybe donate funds to supplement those for whom an international trip may be cost prohibitive? Are there domestic options?
Either way, stop flouting your over-privileged rear ends. Pride comes before a fall…

How in the world does ICE affect your kids ability to travel internationally to play soccer? Same question for SNAP? Aren't food stamps for those unable to afford food. Not those who's kids travel internationally to play youth soccer.
It sounds like you're a full time victim and you feel that everything is everyone else's fault. You should look up RAE (relative age affect) and how it an be applied you kids that play soccer. It's like a super excuse that you can use for anything. Judging from your demeanor I'd say that RAE is right up your alley.
They were talking about putting things in perspective for those with empathy, discretion and a conscience
Since RAE is proven by scientific and academic studies, you're just revealing your ignorance, with pride

My kids never asked for those trips because they are rip off. But we went to the women World Cup in France, 3 of us, watched 6 games including the final for less than sending 2 kids to this EU trips.

Travel soccer is a non-essential expense. Your child will not be discovered on a soccer trip to Europe. Your child will never play in any of the top leagues in England, France, Spain, Italy or even the Bundesliga in Germany. They will not get a scholarship for soccer to an American college and more than likely not be offered a spot on any D1 roster. What your child will get are some great experiences and friends, a love for an amazing game, a heathy lifestyle, and memories. And if you are lucky, you will get these same things."
How do you know this kid's future oh wise one?
Because if any of this were not true, you don't have to travel to Europe; European clubs would be sending folks to look at your child here. I've known about 10 kids that got looked at.

No, I am impacted and I am not a fed employee or a government contractor.
I simply have perspective and understand the privileged position I am in despite the current difficult circumstances. A great number of people in this world and this country would want to trade places with me and my kids and type on an anonymous blog their “feelings” of not being able to send this kids to Europe for a soccer vacation.
