I follow a lot of conservative/MAGA conversations on X. I know plenty of people who voted for Trump—some who don’t like him personally and others who strongly support him—and I’ve never once seen them say things like “I’m cutting off my commie relatives” or “I’m done with my liberal friends.” What I do see, especially on here and Reddit, is that kind of rhetoric coming far more often from the anti-MAGA side—directed at their friends, relatives, or really anyone who disagrees with them.[/quote]

Well, you're wrong, and you suck since you're pontificating about something you haven't experienced. I was cut off by my MAGA sibling and have friends who have been too--which is incredibly painful. We'd all rather be in contact.

Everyone I know who was cut off by MAGA was because we asked MAGA to not discuss politics, i.e. set a boundary. Most of the ones I know can't help talking about politics because it's a cult, it's a test, they're trying to convert. A MAGA family member just demanded that my mom tell her what she thought about Charlie Kirk, despite my mom repeatedly asking to not talk about politics.

Not much is both sides these days, but cutting off family and friends definitely is. [/quote]
