Is this next appt just a test? Or is a test, get results, discuss results, and then go from there? If just a test, I'd do the presentation
She already said just a test.
No she didn’t. She said that at the last test, the doctor discussed the likely condition with her DH and that this appointment is to have a ct scan to confirm the suspected diagnosis and to discuss next steps. So if OP doesn’t go, she will have missed the initial testing, the discussion of those results and a tentative diagnosis, the confirmation testing, the confirmed diagnosis and the discussion of next steps.
Yes she did in her very first post: . They want further tests with specialists asap and soonest appt is of course during this presentation time.
You need to go back and reread. At the previous testing, the doctor discussed the results and presumed diagnosis With her DH, At this testing, she is anticipating confirmation of the diagnosis and a discussion of next steps.
OP never said that she expected a meeting with the doctor. She said her son was getting a CAT scan.
“I want to be there for my child as they are scared, I wasn’t there yesterday when they found this and the next appt will be important as they will confirm if defect and next steps”
