Unless there is a late-announcement, 7-12 basal(s) have not been selected (there will be one selected for 6-8, Algebra-Algebra 2, and AP/post-AP courses). The school board will have to vote on it, after it is presented at the previous meeting. So it's not happening for this year. [/quote]

I know for a fact some schools are piloting a math basal. Not sure what that means for adoption next year but it’s happening.

They did community review but all the info is down and I don’t think the board picked one to go with. [/quote]

At the elementary? Or secondary?

I’m a dept chair at a secondary school and was told Reid didn’t like any of the proposed suggestions and we were going to have to start over next year. I’m hoping that’s wrong. A lot of time and effort went into the original evaluation and selection.[/quote]
