Her vehicle didn't stall. She stopped to try and get out of the express lanes.

Please surrender your driver's license if you think this is remotely acceptable under any circumstances.

DP.  You have no idea what happened there Sherlock. But even if she was at fault for stopping the vehicle that slammed into her is equally if not more at fault for not stopping or maneuvering around. [/quote]

The DMV is where you get licensed. This is the "DC area," transplant.

- learned to drive in Northern VA 30 years ago, and am aghast anyone thinks the woman isn't chiefly to blame. Don't stop in the middle of the highway. If you can't understand this, you're unfit to drive.

Because this insanity happens all the time. People need to know, call out her incredibly reckless, selfish, and fatal decision, so that others take note and stop trying to make dangerous moves so they don't miss their turn/exit/lane.
