What a disappointment. I would absolutely give this feedback to the reps.

You end up relying very heavily on your club swimmers to win meets.  There will be a huge gap between the few club swimmers on your mid-to-low division team and the rest of the team (and relays will be tough to win).  If one of those club swimmers leaves the team, you could find yourself slipping down divisions until you can develop your younger swimmers.[/quote]
