Wow - I remember looking through those catalogs in junior high. I didn’t realize they were still around!
I fly long haul a lot and basically have a uniform. My kids make fun of me bc I almost always wear some iteration of frank & eileen billion dollar pants in black or navy, a sleeveless or short sleeve white top that’s long enough to deal with overheads and then either a fitted blazer or a cardigan, often a Varley zip up one. I often accessorize w/ a few necklaces or a scarf. If where I’m landing is hot, I stick the blazer in my carry on but have it to go over dresses in the evening. I generally wear a pair of cute sneakers that don’t need socks and just put on the plane socks after takeoff until prep for landing. The blazer and sleeveless shirt give me the most flexibility for cold or hot flights, and the pants have pockets. [/quote]
