Anything beyond telling your bridesmaids and the mothers what colors/dresses to wear is beyond rude. The invite should suggest the type of dress e.g. casual, cocktail, formal and that’s it. OP if this is your daughter please guide her. Your friends/family IRL aren’t going to want to tell you your daughter is tacky and entitled but they will judge you and be annoyed.
