Another teacher who allegedly did something sued, got a huge settlement and was able to teach elsewhere.

No it’s not the ‘unions.’ If a teacher did something deplorable and came out unscathed it’s the school system and the law that let that happen.

I have also heard of some teachers who said if a HS student punches them they will defend themselves.

You have no idea how many of these kids hit teachers and nothing also happens to them as well. Or they hit other children and nothing happens.[/quote]
