For my kids age group out of the 10-15 strongest teams 8-10 are local but instead of putting all of those local teams in the top 2 brackets those teams are spread out over 4-5 brackets so the 7,8 teams are playing in the 4th bracket. I think that is why typically once you get below the first couple of brackets the group winners are usually a VA or MD team. After watching my kid play the same handful of teams in the top bracket of every local tournament i like the change.[/quote]
