The job market sucks for the ones who do want to leave. 2. Because the job market sucks, college students and others who couldn’t get a job are taking a stab at teaching (teacher trainees) and are back filling where a licensed teacher usually would be. Schools will hire anyone lately. 3. Jobs are being filled by teachers abroad. This same situation happened in 2008 when the economy went bad and teachers stayed at their jobs.
