I firmly believe that people (men and women) with dozens of partners form weaker attachments and are less committal. My exH had dozens of women. We had a strong marriage for the first 12 years, then he had an affair with an older married woman for 5 years. After divorce he quickly switched from AP to a new woman (20 years younger than him with 2 kids), although he seemed to be so in love with AP! I wouldn't be surprised if he's sleeping with many women at the same time.

I agree with you especially about the short temper. I think it only contributes to men but not female cheaters. The man I am talking to now has a temper and he had cheated on his ex. I am actually thinking of stopping speaking to him because of it I don't like men with short tempers. He also gets riled up when I bring up his patience and kids because he assumes I'm saying that he won't be a good father if we have any kids. My dad was also a cheater and he had a short fuse as well. Wonder why male cheaters have such short fuses.[/quote]

It would be wise for you to throw your friend back in the dating pool. Short temper at the dating stage becomes a large scale abuse and cheating after 10 years of marriage and kids. Ask me how I know [/quote]
