My 11 yo MS kid is like her dad and has zero idea what anyone is wearing or what she should be wearing.  I've been buying my DH's clothes since we started dating in college.  My 11 yo takes right after him and has zero interest in picking out her own clothes.  (She'll likely end up an engineer like him, so certainly not competing for the popular crowd )

It's great that your kid has their own style, but not all kids are into [b]the same thing[/b].  Mine doesn't care about clothes at all.  So I buy my DD clothes that are comfortable and roughly match what other kids are wearing to MS.

I bought her UGGs recently because I don't like her wearing Crocs with socks on cold, wet days.  She likes shoes she can slip on quickly.  They seem like a common MS choice. Done.[/quote]
