If your child’s feet are no bigger than a women’s 8, you can buy the kids size for $30 less.
Where are you finding them this inexpensive?
I don't think PP meant $30. She meant the kids sizes are usually $30 less than whatever the adult version costs. I buy kids size 5 Uggs for my DD who also wears adult women's shoe size 6.5.
Correct. PP means that kids sizing in Uggs is about $30 LESS than adult sizing. Not $30 total. Kids Tasmans are actually $70 vs. $110, so $40 cheaper.

Anonymous wrote:I just showed the Ugg Tasmans to my 13 year old 8th grader and she said they are ugly. She's never seen anyone wearing those, so I think some of these moms must be a year or two out of date? But my kids also don't go to a DC private, so maybe we're just too poor in VA, LOL.

Seriously cringe though, my teens prefer not to wear the same thing as everything else, it's super boring otherwise.
Good for your kid? What’s the big deal if kids want to have what other kids have? I cannot stand these comments especially about middle schoolers. Most middle schoolers don’t want to stand out, whether they are popular or not. They just want to fit in and it’s completely developmentally appropriate. Stop acting like your kid is superior.
My kids are both confident, outspoken and kind. They still want to dress like everyone else because they are middle schoolers.
I had the one that stood out. She has some things everyone had but mostly her own style by middle school. Funny though the kids who made fun of other girls for their clothes to the point of cruelty just conformed to what most girls were wearing. They bullied girls they thought wore babyish clothes. They weren’t wearing anything anyone would look at twice.
The vice principal told me more than once that he couldn’t understand how no one bullied my daughter because dressed in her own style. He obviously knew nothing about style.
I’m sure there’s a few in every school that are very well dressed. And then you have the kids who dress related to the group she’s in. The anime lovers, music lovers who have every rock band t-shirt ever made. There are definitely more than one way to dress in middle school.
What an odd thing for a VP to say. I couldn’t imagine ours saying something like that.
I’m the PP you quoted. My point wasn’t that kids cannot dress as they’d like, clothes are a great form of self expression. My point was I think it’s bizarre when parents come into threads where someone is asking about what middle schoolers like and act like it’s wrong for middle school age kids to want what others have when it’s totally normal and age appropriate. I’d much rather have my kid comfortable in what they are wearing so. They can focus on school. If that’s Ugg slippers and pj pants so be it.

No you just want cool kids. Cringe mommies trying to relive their teenage years through their kids. So pathetic.
DP. What is pathetic is a grown a$$ adult mocking MS aged kids for wanting to fit in while at the same time praising your kids for being too cool to care. You are the toxic person in this situation. Perhaps you should work on whatever it is that makes you feel better by cutting down 13 year olds.

You have anger issues. The big kid ones are $80 and still a great deal. Go touch grass.
The link you posted on this forum has toddler and walker. Please link to the actualkids sizes.
Do your own online shopping.
