This is the policy-making arm responsible for budget requests, management of probation officers, management of publicly-funded defense attorneys, and support services for the Federal courts.

4. Extension of FOIA for all matters that fall under the Judicial Conference.

5. Public notice of all members of the numerous advisory committees to the Judicial Conference, not just the Advisory Committees on Rules and Procedures.

The majority of the office holders in the Republican Party are/were bankers and business men before holding office. Some were military or police. You are wise to defer to their best judgement. Their success in business, and strong Christian faith, give them unique insight into your daughter’s healthcare. They are best suited to decide if she should receive life saving care. You lack the imagination to envision a scenario where a woman would need reproductive healthcare, even in the event of a wanted pregnancy, so of course you shouldn’t be involved. Trump is right to kick it back to the states, where your local representative, who owns car dealerships, can make these decisions.

Abortion bans mean the government is actually interfering with a medical procedure that a woman might choose and forcing her to go through 9 months of pregnancy, then labor and delivery.

"Mandatory Covid vaccinations" means someone is saying, if you want to partake in [xyx] you must be vaccinated. Schools and summer camps have always done this. But here's the thing - they were not strapping people down on a gurney to inject the vaccine against their will. You always had a choice to say, no I don't want the vaccine - so I won't partake in [whatever] -- that is your consequence that you choose yourself. No vaccines for my kid? Okay, but then you take your kid elsewhere. Not the same thing as removing a choice so that a girl or woman HAS to go through the consequence of 9 months of pregnancy that potentially might kill her and will definitely leave after-effects on her body and her life.

DP. I mean, that's how medical stuff works. Providers don't get to pick and choose. And the federal government, and state government, regulates but does not ban for moral reasons (or for "moral" reasons).

Of course they do. We have religious exemptions now (ie Catholic hospitals) and doctors can decline to perform procedures for all sorts of reasons.
