He will not die in his sleep if he gets a stuffy nose. People do not quietly suffocate in their sleep. People who die "quietly" in their sleep usually have heart problems often caused by untreated apnea. Read the other posts and maybe go spend some time reading on a sleep apnea forum and learn something before you come here with this ignorance. He is not going to rupture a blood vessel sneezing.
