Kids play rec soccer because they enjoy it but either don't want the intense pressure of travel soccer or parents don't want to pay $3000 to be driving around all weekend long. My kid is really good, she has no interest in travel soccer because she [gasp!!] has other interests and activities on weeknights and weekends.[/quote]
