Hockey parents are intense, but almost always in a really positive manner. I've never heard them lay into the refs or coaches or other kids in the way I've heard soccer parents do. Hockey parents will cheer for a good goalie stop from either team, they'll get excited when any kid scores a goal even if it's not their kid, they'll keep cheering when the team is down by several points. I literally heard soccer parents yelling at the kids from their own team or saying a coach should pull a kid and crap.[/quote]
