For undgraduate freshmen, 2023-204 there were 90 non-residents listed on the common data set compiled and hosted by Wake.  This out of 1,385 freshmen. For purposes of the Common Data Set a non-resident is defined as "[a] person who is not a citizen or national of the United States and who is in this country on a visa or temporary basis and does not have the right to remain indefinitely."

I would take Wake's word, directly from its mouth, over some college blog site.

Wake is very much a regional school.  There is nothing wrong with that.

Here’s the top ten states Wake draws from outside North Carolina, in order of number of students sent:
Florida
New York
New Jersey
Virginia
Georgia
Massachusetts
Connecticut
Pennsylvania
California

That’s hardly regional unless by regional you mean the entire East Coast.
