This is some thing I’m paying attention to because my kid doesn’t know which direction they want to go. Of course, they are interested in the kinesiology programs but I am very worried that it will limit their options down the road. Frankly, I wish schools didn’t have kinesiology as an undergrad since a DPT program is required for physical therapy. I don’t want my kid stuck in the school of education and realize that they need to do additional years because they want to go to med school. I want them to have options and I feel like staying at arts and sciences at whatever school, with the exception of Michigan, is the safest way to do that. I don’t know how hard it is to transfer between colleges once admitted. Is this something that we need to reach out to each individual school to ask about?[/quote]
