The most interesting one is Kaylia Namour, a French gymnast who defected to Algeria because she wasn’t happy with the French gymnastic federation. The French women's gymnastics team was awful. And the Peacock stream couldn't stop focusing all their attention and commentary on it for that subdivision of the qualifiers. It was like watching a 1.5 hour car crash.

If Kaylia Nemours had been on the team, they would have made the team final with her scores, but the French gymnastics federation likes to shoot itself in the foot to assert dominance (this also seems to be a problem of their skating federation). So instead their gymnasts will be watching Nemours in the all-around and uneven bars final from the stands.[/quote]
