Kamala already knows how to dress well. Trump is the one who can improve his casual style. Nobody needs to wear suit and tie every day. However, First Gentleman can add some interest to his wardrobe as Melania is very well-dressed.
Agree. I care about fashion in Presidential candidates insofar that one role of the President is to represent the country on the international stage and fashion is a nonverbal form of communication that can really matter. But it think Harris does a good job on this front and she's never worn anything that I would worry about. She does an especially good job of communicating power and competence in her dressing while still expressing personality which I think is something female candidates have a much higher bar for (due to both the higher bar for women in leadership generally but also the great variety in womens fashion that creates a lot of potential pitfalls for women in leadership roles). I think it's worth pointing out that she's pretty much nailed this aspect of her role and that's hard to do. Trump's fashion was regularly quite embarassing when he was President even though the bar is soooo much lower for a man as in theory all they have to do is wear a dark solid-color suit that fits reasonably well and not screw up shirt and tie choices (they can always just go with the standard options and no one will criticize them). And Trump cannot even do this. His suits are enormous and ill-fitting and his ties are too long. Either there is something wrong with his shoes or his shoes are doing nothing to help him with whatever is wrong with his posture. His makeup is consistently the wrong color and never properly blended. His hair is what is it is -- it's weird but kind of his signature so I'll leave it alone. But there are many things Trump could be doing to look more presidential and be a better representative of Amerca's image abroad. He's way too arrogant and vain to take a not though. Judging the primary candidates on fashion and presentation (which I think is absolutely fair game given the symbolic and figure-head roles of the president) Harris is the clear winner here.
