Yes, Davidson has D1 sports but they aren’t  in a major conference and they aren’t good at anything except track and field.

The kids I know who are at Davidson have considerably more mixed feelings about it than the rah rah parents on DCUM. It’s ridiculously small and the athletes socialize only among themselves.  [/quote]

I know multiple kids at Davidson.  One recently graduated and said he wished he transferred to some where with more social kids or was an athlete.  The other is a recruited  athlete and said the non athletes are quirky.  So yes, I agree with you if you you have a quirky kid, Davidson might be perfect for them.  [/quote]
