Yes, Davidson has D1 sports but they aren’t  in a major conference and they aren’t good at anything except track and field.

The kids I know who are at Davidson have considerably more mixed feelings about it than the rah rah parents on DCUM. It’s ridiculously small and the athletes socialize only among themselves.  [/quote]
DS is best friends with a baseball player, although he's not an athlete. Plenty of other similar pairings among his crew. They love the school and don't find it to be too small. None of them even applied to WF. It's just a different caliber of school with very different offerings.[/quote]
