Why do people need drugs to lose weight? It's pretty simple math.
I've been on medication since I was 14 for a brain injury. The medication makes me fat. I eat healthy, never more than 1400 calories and run 3-5 miles a week. This is not a calories in/calories out situation - some people have issues. But, since you want to discuss simple math - if x people are fat, and y people are insulting those people - which people are the a-holes?
So if you take weight loss drugs, what are you thinking they will do for you? (Since you barely eat as it is?)
What will likely happen is that she will be full with 800-1000 calories a day and not feel deprived at all, and lose weight. The great thing with the meds is you can try them for 3-6 months and see how it goes. If one doesn’t work, try another. And new ones will be coming out in the next few years.
