Someone on one of the recent Christmas threads posted this recipe for gingerbread sticky toffee pudding: https://www.latimes.com/food/la-xpm-2012-dec-22-la-fo-sos-sticky-toffee-gingerbread-20121222-story.html I made it for Christmas and thought it was excellent, though most of my family preferred our usual orange cheesecake, probably just because they are more familiar with it.
Can someone post a working link for the cheesecake recipe? The one here is broken. Thanks! ha, that was me! Glad you enjoyed it! Ironically I was just thinking to myself it's time to retire it and I had the thought to move on to a cheesecake.
Thank you so much for posting it! I really thought it was lovely, especially given that there was enough leftover toffee sauce for ice cream later in the week. I made a special trip to Balduccis for the apple butter, and think that was definitely worth it. Not sure if it is actually my sister (who did travel to the DMV with her family for the holidays this year) asking for the cheesecake recipe, or if we have some bizarro world doppelgängers, but here’s the recipe: https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/blue-ribbon-orange-cheesecake You can find it on Pinterest topped with whipped cream and chocolate, but that’s not right. It should be topped with the very finely grated peel from two oranges mixed with a tablespoon of sugar.
