NP but that is very unusual. I agree with the PP -- I almost never hear name repeats these days. And when I do, it's as likely to be a less statistically common name as not, because I think there are little micro trends in different areas. For instance, the name repeats I've encountered in the last 5 years: Harlan (one boy, one girl), Thea (one a Thea, one a Theodora nn Thea, but neither name is anywhere close to the top of the SSN list), Marlow.

I've encountered multiple kids with the same popular name, but never in the same setting. It's weird, it's like people sense "there's already a Charlotte in the area, we won't use that."[/quote]
