An uber-rich friend of mine from a southern state (clears $10-20m/year) was complaining that their AO from the most prestigious girls' school in the city could barely get the valedictorian into UGA (OOS), let alone an ivy. Girls couldn't get into the top 5 state schools. Well, the AO moved to an equivalent girls' school in NJ and is now sending multiple girls to ivies. AO confirmed girls same caliber. These aren't country bumpkins. It does suck. [/quote]
