But singling out Taylor in yet another thread on the same exact topic of how horrible a person she is tells me the priority here is to tear one person down, not to comment on the practice itself. If it’s not this, it’s who she dates, where she goes, how she gets there, who she’s friends with. I dislike a lot of celebrities, but I’m capable of not following and commenting on their every move (and start a new thread for every complaint). The obsession is strange.[/quote]

She seeks a lot of attention and gets it. Her communication evokes obsession in her fans by making them think she is their friend. That’s the essence of a parasocial relationship.
