+1. If this had been about ALL of the artists who do this, I’d have a different opinion about the intentions behind this thread. But singling out Taylor in yet another thread on the same exact topic of how horrible a person she is tells me the priority here is to tear one person down, not to comment on the practice itself. If it’s not this, it’s who she dates, where she goes, how she gets there, who she’s friends with. She seeks a lot of attention and gets it. Her communication evokes obsession in her fans by making them think she is their friend. That’s the essence of a parasocial relationship.

Her fans aren’t thinking very critically and claim she is so amazingly generous while not realizing she uses crap tactics to sell them stuff. It isn’t about the format as much as it is pointing out that if Taylor were so extremely generous and magnanimous why doesn’t she pass that on to all her fans and give them a free vinyl, or even all the songs on one vinyl? I guess she likes her truckers better than her fans.

All obsessions are strange. I mean the thread title gave away what would be in it, but you clicked.

Requiring the purchase of four albums to make a clock of four albums or get all the bonus songs (one bonus per album). Just put all the songs on the same album.
