If the two schools are pulling from the same pool of in-state kids with roughly the same stats and UVA has about 2.7X as many seats to fill, UVA has to have the higher yield because it needs to get over 7 out of 10 of them.  [/quote]

At my HS, the kids that went to W&M were UVA rejects, which colors my opinion.[/quote]
My kid is out of state and has no interest in UVA only WM so that’s not always the case. [/quote]
