OP here - we're waiting for a delivery on a potty timer. If I wasn't watching her and taking her when she looks ready we'd only have success about 2 times in 10, I'm hoping the timer can help make it more consistent in evenings.

I just set a phone alarm to go out for every 20 minutes and yes did it while I was out. Put a small potty in the back to f the car. Left clothes to change into in the bathroom in case of accidents. You don’t need a special gadget. [/quote]
