I've taken her every 30 mins and we've had a couple of successes, but we've had a couple of accidents as well after sitting for 10 minutes which has been frustrating. I'm not so sure why she isn't ready when we take her for the accidents.
She's seems to be starting to develop a fever, so she's not as full of energy compared to last weekend, but we'll keep trying

Op here I don't have time on weekdays between grocery shopping and chores and the baby, that I can't watch over her, so I can only give her all the attention looking for cues on weekends.
That’s not a good reason. I don’t know any parent who sits there and goes “yeah, I don’t have enough stuff to do after a long day at work. I’d like to spend my time potty training my child.” No one says that. You have to make time. That’s the point.
If it’s a priority for you then it wouldn’t be optional. If it’s not a priority then that’s fine. Some people like to wait until later. But then you cannot complain about daycare not doing much when you don’t do any training on the weekdays.

Ugh, sorry to hear it! (PP who has also had two accidents today.) My kid went down for his nap a full hour earlier than usual so I’m thinking he’s not fully with it either. Good luck to us both (and may the long weekend next weekend be beneficial).

PP poster here. Maybe my kid was just easy but I didn't stand around watching for her cues. She peed in her pants a couple times and that was the end of it.
OP here - we're waiting for a delivery on a potty timer. If I wasn't watching her and taking her when she looks ready we'd only have success about 2 times in 10, I'm hoping the timer can help make it more consistent in evenings.
To PPs and others did you use a potty watch when on chores and out as well?
