We live in a male-dominated, patriarchal, misogynistic, phallocentric, sexist, oppressive society where womyn are entirely deprived of any opportunity to succeed from the very moment of their birth!
Yes, one in which men die on the job at 10x the rate of women; one in which men commit suicide 4x the rate of women; one in which men are incarcerated at a rate 8x that of women; and one in which women outnumber men 60-40% at universitiies. Those men and their evil plans for male world domination sure are working out well!
Men are incarcerated at a higher rate because they commit far more crime than women. Men die by firearm suicides at a higher rate - because they choose the most lethal method. Women intentionally overdose at higher rates, which is more likely to land them in the hospital. Men choose jobs that are riskier and take more risks on those jobs that lead to injury and death.
Excuses. Change "men" to "black people" and it's a crisis, but when it's men who cares, right? I see no effort to get more women into riskier jobs in the name of gender diversity. Why is that?
