In some cases it is despite the club. These players would be in the same place had they played at any of the ECNL/GA teams in VA or MD. The biggest factor, besides natural talent, is probably the support and resources they got from their parents in the form of extra training, personal trainers, camps, equipment, etc.[/quote]

Agreed. I think those talented players would make it anywhere really with the full support from family and the coach/ club.
Sound like though ultimately, it doesn't matter where you play if you are one of those stand out player.[/quote]
