Good Luck!

For the reason you mention, I will consider waiting until all teams have played and do a full data dive across all age groups and teams. The ECNL website seems to be down between fall and spring right now. Several teams have not rescheduled make up games to my knowledge. So this may be imperfect.

Also need to figure out the formatting of the data on this site.

You don't need the data to understand that Brave is the top club around.

Who hurt you?

VDA, Union, TSJ.

3 from VA is impressive but are they the work of the club or they just naturally talented?

In some cases it is despite the club. These players would be in the same place had they played at any of the ECNL/GA teams in VA or MD. The biggest factor, besides natural talent, is probably the support and resources they got from their parents in the form of extra training, personal trainers, camps, equipment, etc.

Agreed. I think those talented players would make it anywhere really with the full support from family and the coach/ club.
Sound like though ultimately, it doesn't matter where you play if you are one of those stand out player.

The three are good, but let's be honest, politics (and $) played an oversize role here.....

Talent = 5%
Politics = 95%

Look at history. Lots of FCV kids went to the camps etc over and over and over again. But when they got to the college level - without politics - no invites.

I think you’re confusing YNT camp and local training centers.

Sounds like it.

Anyone looking to move teams next year? What would be a good destination in each age group?

Maybe for one of them…

Why are you poking at one of the players, there is no need for it. Great to have 3 players from VA involved

+1000

Don't be a jealous hater its unbecoming

Obviously you haven't watched them play then.

It’s not like these 3 just appeared out of nowhere. Look at their history. They have been on the track for at least 2 years but people will be jealous. They are still young. It is a big accomplishment but it is still a big jump to the pros and even bigger jump to the USWNT. Lots of thing have to go right and they have to be lucky.

Personal trainers, camps, equipment? For one of them, this was a factor.
