The Rivian R1T has a height over 73+" and is over 217" in length.

It is a gargantuan 8500+ lbs.

Contrast that to say the Honda Odyssey which has a height of 69.6" and a total length of 205.2".

An Odyssey has a weight that is almost HALF of the Rivian, coming in at only 4482 lbs.

Nothing screams "I'm an entitled, moronic db@g that gives zero Fs about anyone else" like a rivian.  They are an extreme danger to everyone else on the roads and in public just like all of the other stupidly sized cars Americans are addicted to.  The govt should be taxing the crap out of behemoths like the Rivian that weigh that much and would have an insane momentum in a crash.  The rivian weighs even more than a really stupid vehicle like the Cadillac Escalade, lol.  It is extremely dangerous for everyone else on the road. [/quote]

EVs weigh more than SUVs, which means they will do more damage to the roads and everyone around them.

Maybe you forgot basic high school physics. Here let me remind you:

p= mv.    More mass, more momentum. It’s directly proportional.

And you’re comparing a stupid car to another stupid car like an SUV.  It’s really not informative to state a stupidly sized car isn’t as bad another stupidly sized car, lol.

They need to be taxing the crap outta gargantuan cars like Rivians for obscene weight since they do not contribute anything to road taxes and tear up our roads.   There should be special licenses required for stupid cars over 8000 lbs.

More and more people are dying every year.  It has a ton to do with the ridiculously oversized and overweight cars Americans are addicted to, which is all a result of idiotic loopholes defining ‘light’ trucks that were made because of automobile industry lobbying.

You are a tremendous hazard on the road for everyone in your stupid Rivian that looks like a hippopotamus.
