Because I interview for Yale. Yesterday was told assignments would start being made (at least for my area) and today I got assigned a student to invite for an interview [/quote]

We were just notified today about interview with Yale.  We thought it was too late.  We were actually hoping for no interview as that would essentially guarantee no deferral. Actually the Yale AO basically says as much.  [b]They mostly interview people who are on the "bubble".  Locks for admission do not need an interview to help application and clearly unqualified would be a waste.[/b]

I should haved clarified that I was specifically speaking for Yale, which is of particular interest in my home.[/quote]
