Not going to vote for Trump, but I find this a bit unrealistic and maybe something to scare those who are on the fence about voting for him. Yes I agree Trump is a disaster but I just find it hard to believe all this project 2025 stuff. Maybe some nut jobs are planning it but they won’t be able to execute it.
What do you find "a bit unrealistic" about it? It truly fascinates me that people will simply dismiss this possibility out of hand when we have ample evidence in the form of things Trump actually DID: -deploying anonymous federal forces in DC -directing OMB not to release transition funds -signing the Executive Order for Schedule F -firing Mark Esper at DOD, firing James Comey, firing Jeff Sessions as well as things he tried to do: -steal an election -firing Gina Haspel at CIA -blackmail the President of Ukraine, -install loyalists at all levels of government and then say things like, "this is unrealistic," or this is fear-mongering. If you truly believe that then I urge you to wake up. I have a feeling that all the people that are sitting around thinking none of the above applies to them may end up with a very rude wake up call when they find out that they aren't as insulated as they think.
I ask that you reconsider the above with one FACT in mind. The president is the HEAD of the Executive Branch. All employees in the Executive Branch below him are INFERIOR OFFICERS. See Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution. And before you say well this federal statute says this and XYZ US Code says that, none of those circumvent the U.S. Constitution. It is supreme to all of that. In fact, when you talk about the CIA, DoD, or any Federal Agency for that matter, they aren't even mentioned in the Constitution. Only the Supreme Court that I know of. It does say terms like..."To establish Post Offices"..."To coin Money"..."To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations", but those are under Congress and it doesn't mention a department or structure per se. So the president is really THE person that rules above all for much of it. Complaints about firing people or directing OMB or whatever can all be rerouted to /dev/null. And BTW, EVERY president installs loyalists. I mean, get real. You're way off base.
Yes, a president appoints Schedule C federal employees, but it is one thing to have some experience in a discipline and work at a related agency and something completely different to have totally unqualified and undereducated boobs take federal paychecks to do nothing or worse, undermine said agency.
