Beyond the jewelry idea -- I think it would be far, far better for your son to be listening to what her interests are and find something very personally related to her.  He will never be able to repay the favor, but showing her that HE SEES HER is the closest he can come to thanking her for seeing and saving him!

Even better than buying her a "thing" would be planning an activity or experience with her....and then giving her a letter, book, or framed poem about being the light to someone else.   That type of thoughtful, planned EFFORT is WAY BETTER than a bracelet.[/quote]
