I know many people my age who no longer wear their engagement rings because (1) the ring no longer fits, (2) the style no longer suits them, (3) the stone is large enough that it bothers them for day to day wear, (4) they have gotten out of the habit, (5) plenty of other reasons. In fact, I’ve never heard your assumed reason as an actual one. [/quote]
