June 2020, FCPS had 14399 7th grade 14325 8th grade Data for this year hasn't been released yet, but June 2023 FCPS had 13161 7th grade 13680 8th grade There were 13489 6th graders in June 2023, so its unlikely there will be that much of a recovery in FCPS's numbers. I don't have good data on how the demographics have changed, but I suspect that a rise in the number of potential students was more than offset by people noping out of the public school system into private.
