Mostly Republican. I do like my Delegate David Bulova though. I’m sorry but county offices don’t control things like abortion lol. Anyone saying they absolutely “have to” vote for their incompetent Dem rep on the county board or school board due to “muh abortion” is arguing in bad faith and admitting the following: A) you know the current crop of Dem candidates are deeply flawed and they have done things objectively bad. B) you’re a partisan hack who would find any reason whatsoever to justify your Dem vote. Don’t hide behind abortion when defending your vote for the crappy Dem candidate. They suck and you know it, just embrace your vote for them at this point.
Exactly this. So sick of morons inserting abortion into discussions about the school board.
Republicans continually use the abortion discussion as a political tool to bind the conscience of Christian voters; the Christians feel they MUST vote Republican or else they are sinnning. Republicans take advantage of this to get votes, then do whatever they (Republicans) want to do in office in area that are not related to abotion. So yes, the abortion issue matters.
Whatever you say. I’m a pro-choice Republican but abortion is not my only issue, especially this year. We get that it’s yours though.
Except you’re ok if abortion is banned in VA.
what’s the source that states this is going to happen? it’s like 26 weeks right now, do you need it right up until birth?
It’s posts like this that make me convinced that Republican voters are straight up lying about abortion. When Republicans gain control of state government, they ban abortion. Period. It’s like a law of nature. Look what’s happened in other states with unified Republican control. Here in Virginia, Youngkin has vowed to sign “any bill … to protect life” that reaches his desk. Except that abortion bans aren’t popular. Many Republican voters know this, so they’ve resorted to lying to everyone else about what they really want and what the Republicans they vote for plan to do. Or they lie about nonsense like “up to the moment of birth,” which isn’t a thing that happens.
+1 Republicans lie about abortion when it’s convenient. Youngkin even admitted he can’t tell the truth about it during a campaign. Let’s look at Republican actions. They ban abortion whenever they can. If you vote for R then you are ok if abortion is banned.
