I'll share what I priced out for my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 elem. kids)...all my estimates are costs without gas/activities/souvenirs

1) Fly in/out Prague and some combo of Prague, vienna, budapest, Ljubljana+region, zagreb. $4,800

2) Fly in/out Venice with only 2 nights Venice and the rest likely around the Dolomites $5,500

3) Fly in/out Porto and stay in Aveiro+Cascais $5,700

4)Fly in/out Paris and visit some combo of Alsace+black forest or switzerland (lots of youth hostels that are actually super reasonably priced as low as 107-167 per night depending on which one with breakfast) 6k

I also saw "affordable" priced tickets to Dublin, Berlin, Stockholm, Hamburg (all at or under $700 pp with very scattered dates. My family trips I priced out are all for July so maybe you could do it a little cheaper in June? [/quote]
