not indoors. and obviously playing on an indoor court is much better in every way. And they aren't reducing the membership fees to reflect the lack of basketball. In fact they are telling people if they want to keep the basic amenity of court space, they have to drive 30 minutes to go elsewhere AND pay a whole lot more. Hence the unhappy customers. [/quote]

They're kids! Why can't they play outside?! We actually have great weather here in the DC area.

I see people with portable pickleball nets on basketball courts all the time.
Why can't the pickleballers also just play outside. Or, on actual outdoor tennis courts? 
Not sure why the kids can't have their space to play indoors. What's the issue with splitting the space? [/quote]
