Spain posters, which areas of the country did you visit, and how did you like them during the summer? Was it super hot, and did your lodging have a/c?
Also how were the crowds?
We did a lot in 16 days late June to early July. Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, Gibraltar, Sevilla, Toledo and a few day trips here and there. It was hot but it wasn’t too bad. But I wouldn’t want to be in southern Spain in August. All hotels had A/C and a few had pools. We stayed in Nerja for a few days which is an awesome family friendly beach town that didn’t feel crowded. Our hotel had a rooftop pool with a view of the Mediterranean. The touristy places were crowded but that was what we had expected since summer was the only time we could travel due to the school schedule. We made sure to buy tickets ahead of time for the popular spots.
