They are full of the worst behaved louts from the UK you will ever encounter outside of a football (soccer) stadium. [/quote] That's true if you go to the bigger resort towns. We had a great time at a smaller beach town about 90 minutes north of Barcelona, along the Costa Brava. It was warm but not super hot (because of the ocean breezes), and yes the apartment we rented had A/C, and it was necessary. [/quote]
