Heck, it was hard to get my South Asian relatives to mask even during 2020/2021. They certainly aren’t masking on a regular basis. [/quote] When I traveled in the late 90s to Tokyo and Soeul I saw a number of people on the streets wearing masks. Didn't know if it was for illness prevention, smog or something else. As an American, just thought it was unusual to see. [/quote]
