I saw Kidman interview on this topic.  She said the kids were old enough to make the decision (tweens or young teens maybe?) and that the LA lure was just too strong versus her life in Tennessee or wherever.  So she let them decide and they chose to live with Tom.   [/quote]

The kids were only 5-6 and 8-9 at the time of the divorce. If at that age they wanted to stay with dad, I wonder why. Seems odd that Nicole thought at that age they were old enough to make a decision.

I think it's bad to judge her without knowing all that she was up against. When the excuse is a scary cult who convinces your kids you're a sociopath, so then the kids cut off most contact with you, I'd find that to be a damn good excuse.[/quote]

Exactly PP.  That would give me the incentive to fight harder.  NK was not without her own financial clout.  She also access to multiple media outlets if this was true.  [/quote]
